About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver ensures the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards, complies with all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections (tires, fluids, safety equipment) and report issues. • Operate heavy truck along assigned route, read route sheet, and transport waste to disposal site. • Use manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and unload refuse following safety policies. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for prohibited items and clean accidental spills per safety standards. • Keep vehicle clean (packer blade, truck body) and monitor condition to minimize downtime. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation. • Meet departmental productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies and the ReSOP program.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brakes endorsement.
