About the Role
• Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specs to diagnose and repair units. • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested. • Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work. • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness. • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance. • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customers and/or Operations Manager of findings. • Document work by completing paperwork for each job, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files. • Serve as the direct customer contact representing the company. • Determine parts to order for repairs and their timeliness. • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources. • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly. • Keep current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair information. • Read and interpret product specifications. • Provide technical support to customers. • Travel regularly, including occasional overnight trips.
