About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role involves ensuring a safe work environment, executing preventive maintenance with proper records, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on belts, motors, sensors, and relays, managing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, and overseeing departmental inventory. The technician also mentors junior staff, fosters collaborative relationships across the facility, and must be able to read blueprints and electrical schematics while applying electrical and electronic principles. • Promote safety by following all procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance and document tasks. • Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues on material handling equipment. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor, parts, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians and maintain positive workplace relationships.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma, have over two years of experience fixing material handling equipment and performing predictive maintenance, be familiar with a CMMS and Microsoft Office, and be willing to work flexible shifts. Preferred candidates include those with an associate degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline, experience with MHE safety standards, robotic operation and maintenance, and basic input/output troubleshooting. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lb, work overhead, kneel, climb ladders or aerial lifts, and wear appropriate PPE such as hard hats and composite toe shoes while moving between various locations on a typical day. • Minimum: high school diploma, 2+ years MHE repair, 2+ years preventive maintenance, 1+ year blueprint and schematic reading, electrical principles knowledge, CMMS experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, flexible schedule. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, knowledge of MHE safety standards, robotic operation experience, basic I/O troubleshooting. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, reach overhead, kneel, climb ladders, use aerial lift, and wear required PPE.
