About the Role
In this position you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, repair and inspection to keep systems safe and compliant. You will deliver high‑quality trade services while maintaining WHS and environmental standards, collaborate with other trades and service providers, provide responsive service to internal and external stakeholders, focus on extending the life of fixed plant and equipment, and communicate work outcomes clearly and professionally. • Undertake electrical maintenance, repair, and inspection to ensure safe, compliant operation of base systems and equipment. • Deliver high‑quality trade services while maintaining WHS and environmental compliance. • Collaborate with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery. • Provide responsive, professional trade services to internal and external stakeholders. • Improve longevity of fixed plant and equipment and communicate work outcomes clearly.

What You Bring
The role commences in February 2026 and is open to candidates from all backgrounds, whether you have Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills. Candidates must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and an unrestricted NSW electrical licence, and have post‑trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance, including system inspection, repair and preventative work. A current driver’s licence, Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1 (Australian citizenship required), and a strong work ethic and positive attitude are also essential, while an Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card are desirable. • Hold Certificate III in Electrotechnology. • Possess an unrestricted NSW electrical licence. • Have a current open driver’s licence. • Hold Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1 (Australian citizenship required). • Possess post‑trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance, including inspection, repair and preventative maintenance. • Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card (desirable). • Demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
