About the Role

The VDC Mechanical Lead will support and coordinate all aspects of Building Information Modeling (BIM) production, coordination, and management for mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring a quality product that meets contract requirements. The role focuses on developing, coordinating, and producing 3‑D models in collaboration with design consultants, the pre‑construction team, construction operations, and supply‑chain partners. While in‑person work in Jacksonville, FL is preferred, remote arrangements may be considered. • Lead BIM production, coordination, and management for mechanical and plumbing systems. • Develop, coordinate, and deliver 3‑D models in partnership with design consultants, pre‑construction, construction, and supply‑chain teams. • Perform clash detection and resolution within BIM models. • Ensure BIM standards are applied and maintain model quality.

What You Bring

RQC, LLC, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of DPR Construction, is seeking experienced engineers and designers with advanced large‑scale (>$25 M) commercial, federal, or industrial project experience to join its design/build team for integrated Department of Defense projects. These projects are technically and geographically diverse and present challenging, interesting work. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related A/E/C discipline and possess five or more years of BIM design experience, including immersive BIM, design coordination, clash detection, and resolution. Additional experience working with architecture, engineering, MEP systems, and construction is required, with field construction, BIM standards implementation, and 3‑D scan model collaboration preferred. Required software proficiency includes Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, the Microsoft Office suite, and BIM 360/Autodesk Docs, and occasional travel may be necessary. Benefits
