About the Role
As a Commercial Evaluator you will provide dedicated support to the Capital Delivery function, working closely with project managers, estimators and delivery teams to ensure best‑practice procurement outcomes for a range of capital projects. • Develop procurement plans, sourcing strategies and evaluation approaches. • Participate in evaluation panels to provide commercial and pricing expertise. • Assess commercial risks and review supplier pricing terms. • Prepare clear commercial assessments and recommendations to support evaluation outcomes. • Support audits, reviews and assurance processes. • Manage procurement and tender evaluation processes with proven experience. • Conduct commercial analysis, pricing reviews or risk assessments. • Produce clear, well‑structured documentation and recommendations. • Communicate effectively and engage stakeholders across teams.

What You Bring
The role requires strong commercial, procurement and evaluation expertise, and you will be expected to develop procurement plans, contribute to evaluation panels and assess commercial risks to support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the infrastructure sector, proven experience managing procurement and tender evaluation processes, and solid commercial and financial analysis skills. You should also be capable of preparing clear, well‑structured documentation, and possess effective communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities. Benefits
We are hiring for two permanent Commercial Evaluator positions based in our Petone office. The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with a remuneration range of $93,445 to $131,922 including KiwiSaver, dependent on skills and experience.
