About the Role

The primary objective is to operate assigned equipment safely and in accordance with Mortenson’s safety policies and regulations. • Operate a variety of heavy equipment (blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid‑steer, boom/aerial lifts, roller) per project requirements. • Follow prescribed safety regulations, work plans, and pre‑task cards while maintaining a clean, orderly work area. • Perform routine equipment maintenance—lubricating, fueling, cleaning—and monitor for malfunctions. • Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, procedures, and load charts. • Apply basic math and operate equipment controls (levers, gears, pedals, steering). • Work independently; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (heavier loads with assistance).

What You Bring
