About the Role

The Driver—CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards, adhering to all company, state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports. • Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste. • Follow route sheets and dispatcher instructions to service each customer. • Load and unload refuse using manual or automatic controls per safety policies. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean accidental spills safely. • Keep the truck clean by removing waste from the packer blade and body each trip. • Complete route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports and other required documentation. • Meet productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, including the ReSOP program.

What You Bring

The role requires a valid Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement. Drivers must operate collection trucks safely, follow assigned routes, handle waste loading and compaction, and maintain required documentation while meeting productivity standards. • Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement required.
