About the Role
The role oversees day‑to‑day engineering operations of the township, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance, supervising technicians during shifts, coordinating vendor activities, enforcing health and safety compliance, and maintaining detailed operational documentation. • Operate and maintain all MEP systems, including HVAC, LT panels, DG sets, pumps, STP/WTP, fire systems, elevators, and lighting. • Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and record performance of plant and machinery. • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. • Supervise technicians during shifts and ensure accurate handover documentation. • Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements. • Coordinate vendor and contractor activities, ensuring safety, quality, and documentation of completed work. • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, statutory regulations, and company policies. • Support emergency preparedness, fire drills, and incident reporting. • Maintain daily reports, checklists, breakdown logs, and utility consumption records; report major incidents immediately.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have 3 to 6 years of experience managing MEP systems in residential townships, commercial buildings, or large facilities. Experience with building management system (BMS) operations is preferred. Key competencies include strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, a solid understanding of safety procedures and statutory compliance, leadership skills to manage technical teams, and effective communication for coordination with stakeholders. The role requires flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies. • Hold a diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 3–6 years of relevant experience. • Possess strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and hands‑on experience with BMS (preferred). • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
