About the Role

The Assistant Leasing & Marketing Manager reports to the General Manager and supports daily property operations to ensure resident satisfaction, financial stability, and proper physical condition. This role involves coordinating leasing activities, managing renewals, overseeing licensing, and handling resident check‑ins and check‑outs. The position also contributes to marketing initiatives and resident retention programs while maintaining effective communication with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors. • Assist with leasing to achieve full lease‑up and maintain high occupancy, including renewal offers and tracking responses. • Maintain accurate availability records compatible with lease renewal reports. • Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for execution. • Manage property licenses and renewals by liaising with legal counsel and city officials. • Support the check‑out process, including key collection, final account statements, and unit inspections. • Ensure efficient and accurate resident lease sign‑ups and check‑ins. • Respond promptly to resident concerns or complaints, fostering positive public relations. • Prepare weekly property performance reports as required. • Help develop and implement advertising and marketing programs to position the property in the marketplace. • Contribute to resident retention program development and execution. • Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors. • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, and typing.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one. • Valid driver’s license (auto insurance preferred). • Proficient with office equipment and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. • Knowledge of Entrata property‑management software preferred. • Strong numerical analysis, typing accuracy, and record‑keeping skills. • Understanding of federal, state, and local housing laws. • Ability to meet paperwork deadlines and follow standardized procedures. • Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with excellent customer‑service skills. • Effective communication and logical problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.
