About the Role
The accountant will maintain accounting records and prepare monthly financial statements for a portfolio of real‑estate assets, collaborating with leadership, owners, managers, and the lease administration team. After training, the role operates in a hybrid model from our downtown Orlando office with remote flexibility. • Prepare month‑end, quarter‑end, and annual reporting packages for designated real‑estate assets. • Perform monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, including bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations for assigned assets. • Assist in reviewing annual budgets for real‑estate assets. • Prepare and file monthly property sales‑tax returns and reconcile sales‑tax assets and liabilities. • Review year‑end reconciliations for tenant CAM, taxes, and insurance prorations. • Analyze balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts for unusual activity and collaborate with real‑estate managers to resolve issues. • Prepare journal entries for property acquisitions and dispositions. • Support client audit requirements as needed. • Perform ancillary tasks such as posting receipts, uploading budgets, and other ad‑hoc duties.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting. • Possess 1–2 years of full‑cycle accounting experience; real‑estate accounting background is a plus. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills. • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Yardi or MRI real‑estate software is a bonus.
