About the Role

The Project Controls Analyst based at the Melbourne office provides financial, planning, and project‑control support to business‑unit leaders and project managers. This role ensures accurate cost management, effective scheduling, and compliance with company and client requirements to achieve BRPH’s operational and financial objectives. • Track and analyze project costs, budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. • Investigate cost variances and recommend corrective actions or recovery plans. • Support development and maintenance of work breakdown structures, project coding, and task/cost allocations. • Apply earned value methodologies and other performance metrics to monitor progress. • Monitor and report cost and schedule changes to project management. • Contribute to change control management and critical path method scheduling as needed. • Prepare, review, and analyze accounting records, project financials, and management reports. • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets; prepare variance analyses and present findings. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and customer requirements. • Support internal and external audit processes. • Provide timely financial and project performance reports to management and stakeholders. • Review and report on project revenue, cost trends, and performance indicators. • Develop training and guide operations staff on project controls processes and tools. • Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint and other tools for cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting. • Support continuous improvement in financial and project control systems and reporting processes.

What You Bring

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, construction, business, or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates must be able to perform semi‑sedentary work, lift up to 20 pounds, navigate construction sites, operate a motor vehicle, and maintain focus under stressful conditions.
