Logistics Superintendent

About the Role

• Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget by closely monitoring and adjusting logistical plans as necessary. • Report regularly on logistics status, challenges, and solutions to project management and other relevant stakeholders. • Supervise material management field personnel, including general foreman, operators and laborers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. • Work performed around hazardous equipment. • Implement quality control measures for logistics operations to meet project specifications. • Execute comprehensive plans for receiving, offloading, staging, and managing materials efficiently. • Develop and oversee the site delivery schedule for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system projects. • Collaborate with Discipline Superintendents to ensure a cohesive work environment and effective distribution of materials. • Work performed in confined areas • Promote and enforce safety protocols among logistics and material management teams. • Maintain inventory control, ensuring all necessary materials are available as needed without excess. • Identify and resolve daily logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations. • Manage all site logistics activities, including receiving, offloading, and staging, to support project timelines. • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to contracts.

What You Bring

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.) • Spanish speaking is a plus. • Excessive humidity, rain, etc. • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc. • Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.) Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties. • Minimum of 4 years work experience in renewables construction, or related field. • Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: planning, installation, and execution. • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. • Willingness to travel full-time. • Requires repetitive movement • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time • Work performed at low and/or high elevations • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position; and
