About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of construction and workplace projects through all phases. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, documentation, and communication with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes. • Assist in delivering project management services throughout the project lifecycle. • Conduct research, data collection, and benchmarking to support decision‑making. • Establish and maintain effective project documentation and reporting systems. • Support development and updating of detailed project plans and schedules. • Track project progress and performance indicators; prepare updates and reports. • Manage change control processes and maintain accurate change logs. • Draft formal progress reports and presentations for stakeholders. • Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. • Attend project meetings and produce accurate, timely meeting minutes. • Facilitate communication flow between internal and external teams. • Lead project‑management efforts on medium to large, complex construction projects. • Negotiate with regulatory agencies on code deviations and change orders. • Promote a healthy, productive, and flexible working environment that respects work‑life balance.

What You Bring
• Hold a professional qualification in construction, project management, engineering, surveying, architecture, or IT. • Possess at least two years of relevant construction industry experience. • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the full project life cycle from conception to post‑project review. • Have design, management, or construction experience in a general construction environment. • Maintain business‑level proficiency in both English and Japanese.
