About the Role
The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead the North America Tissue Procurement Strategy within the Global External Contract Manufacturing team. As a Category Specialist, you will develop and govern a data‑driven category strategy, build resilient and cost‑effective supply chains, and partner with internal functions and suppliers to deliver measurable business value. Key responsibilities include understanding market dynamics, benchmarking, creating fact‑based recommendations, reducing complexity, standardizing processes, and fostering strategic supplier partnerships. You will also lead change management, conduct supplier scans, drive RFx events, own commercial negotiations, and ensure compliance with Kimberly‑Clark’s Code of Conduct. • Analyze NA tissue market dynamics and benchmark suppliers. • Develop and align a robust, data‑driven procurement strategy with local, regional and global goals. • Create fact‑based recommendations for a resilient, cost‑effective supply base. • Reduce complexity and promote standardization across the category. • Collaborate with cross‑functional owners in Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Safety to achieve targets. • Build strategic supplier partnerships that drive innovation and measurable business opportunities. • Govern category strategy updates with a continuous‑improvement mindset. • Lead market benchmarking, supplier scans and negotiation planning. • Drive out single‑source suppliers and lead RFx events to achieve balanced scorecards. • Own commercial term negotiations and ensure compliance with K‑C Code of Conduct. • Provide on‑site fitness center, occupational health nurse and safety‑equipment allowances. • Support education, adoption, relocation and temporary childcare programs.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or a related field, at least four years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, and proven skills in strategic sourcing, stakeholder management and communication. Preferred qualifications include strong data‑driven negotiation abilities, experience with Coupa, SAP, ETQ, and knowledge of non‑woven products. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or related discipline. • Possess 4+ years of procurement, supply‑chain or related business experience. • Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing, category management and stakeholder management. • Exhibit strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage programs in a matrixed, global environment and travel up to 20%. • (Preferred) Leverage data and benchmarking to negotiate target contract structures and pricing. • (Preferred) Experience with Coupa, SAP and ETQ systems. • (Preferred) Knowledge of non‑woven products and manufacturing processes.
