About the Role

In this role you will work within a team that delivers strategic Federal program and investment management for Transport for NSW, covering reporting, governance, funding proposals and assurance. You will ensure compliance with the Federation Funding Agreement and support Australia’s largest infrastructure investment program. The position contributes directly to the effective delivery of federal funding across the transport sector. You will lead the day‑to‑day programme management functions of the Federal Infrastructure Investment Program, overseeing the collection, consolidation, analysis and review of financial and technical data across all Transport Cluster programmes. You will design and maintain reporting and governance frameworks that meet Australian Government requirements and monitor compliance. This work underpins accurate, timely information for strategic investment decisions. The role involves high‑level stakeholder management with Federal, State and local partners, influencing investment decisions and feeding into strategic planning and risk management. You will have opportunities to lead a high‑performing team, shape federal‑relations strategy and drive continuous improvement in reporting and governance. Your influence will help broker efficiencies and enhance service delivery. • Lead day‑to‑day management of the Federal Infrastructure Investment Program across the Transport Cluster. • Deliver strategic federal program and investment management, including reporting, governance, funding proposals and assurance. • Consolidate and analyse programme‑level financial and technical information to support decision‑making. • Develop and maintain reporting and governance frameworks compliant with Australian Government requirements. • Engage high‑level stakeholders (Federal, State, local) to influence investment decisions and shape strategy. • Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and continuous improvement of reporting processes. • Build and mentor a high‑performing team while shaping federal‑relations strategy. • Ensure adherence to the Federation Funding Agreement and other compliance obligations. • Apply expertise in infrastructure delivery, government relations and financial reporting. • Utilise advanced data analytics and visualisation tools to present performance insights. • Promote diversity, inclusion and flexible work arrangements within the team.
