About the Role

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, diagnosing and fixing electrical, mechanical, and HVAC faults. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and provide technical support across multiple sites. • Liaise with customers to deliver outstanding service and mentor apprentices and junior engineers. • Travel between client sites in a field‑based role and be available for on‑call duty one week in four.

What You Bring

Arcus is a leading facilities management team looking for a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer in the Canterbury area to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio, providing first‑line response to emergencies. • Hold a recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance; retail or commercial experience preferred. • Possess a valid UK driving licence and certifications including 18th Edition, F‑Gas, and Test & Inspection. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities, independent work style, and IT proficiency for workload management.

The role offers a salary of £35,834 or £41,210 depending on experience, full door‑to‑door pay, up to 4% bonus, overtime paid at time‑and‑half, a company van (personal use from day 1), 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday equivalent, and ongoing training and development opportunities at the National Training Centre.
