About the Role
• Embed and uplift sustainability across the AGFMA contract in partnership with the Sustainability Manager and cross‑functional teams. • Develop and manage sustainability data frameworks, reporting tools, KPI tracking and contribute to investment proposals. • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for emissions reduction, waste minimisation and resource efficiency. • Contribute to energy, emissions, waste and water minimisation strategies and annual management plans aligned with contract obligations. • Support delivery of environmental and business improvement initiatives, monitoring timelines, milestones and KPIs. • Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide education and support to agencies, vendors and internal teams, and promote Ventia’s values and Safe for Life philosophy.

What You Bring
Ventia delivers the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia and is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Sustainability Coordinator to embed sustainability across the AGFMA contract and support the State's Net Zero and waste reduction objectives. This permanent full‑time role primarily supports the AGFMA contract, with flexibility to assist other Ventia sustainability initiatives as needed. While the position is preferably based in South Australia, strong candidates from other states are welcome, with periodic travel to SA required. • Hold a tertiary qualification in environmental/sustainability studies, science, engineering or a related discipline and have experience delivering sustainability projects. • Demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; Power BI experience is highly regarded. • Possess solid understanding of sustainability frameworks, SA climate policy, net zero strategies, CSR, legislation and the UN SDGs. • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, capable of developing reports, proposals and presentations. • Be flexible, proactive and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
