About the Role

In this position you will deliver technical solutions at customer sites, ranging from inspections and alignments to installations and rebuilds, ensuring equipment operates to the highest standards. You will collaborate with global teams and attend training programs in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic to stay current with industry advancements. • Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on generators per OEM standards • Strip down, rebuild, fault‑find, and overhaul large generators and related equipment • Install and commission turbo‑driven generators, sync condensers, and motors • Conduct mechanical alignments and basic electrical tests using optical, laser, and electrical systems • Interpret technical specifications and prepare method statements and customer reports • Support winding specialists with in‑situ winding repairs and rewinds • Deliver solutions beyond scope when required to meet customer needs • Lead by example in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices

What You Bring

• Hold an accredited Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience • Have 5+ years of hands‑on experience with motors and/or generators • Be self‑sufficient, resourceful, and a strong problem solver • Communicate effectively in spoken and written English • Be willing to travel offshore and overseas for assignments and training • Demonstrate initiative and confidence when operating independently on‑site • Be a collaborative team player with ability to work solo when needed
