About the Role
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and reactive maintenance for plant manufacturing operations, executing planned maintenance schedules, repairing equipment to maintain maximum production rates, and managing a spare‑parts inventory. The role requires flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as needed, and on‑call availability for urgent repairs, while collaborating closely with production staff and supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, dies, motors, drives, chillers, etc.) • Order replacement parts and control components from suppliers as needed • Complete preventive maintenance and repair work orders promptly in the CMMS • Act as first responder for machine issues and coordinate with Electrical Engineering when required • Collaborate with production staff to ensure safe, reliable equipment operation • Support continuous‑improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and safety • Assist with daily management directives and initiatives • Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings • Troubleshoot industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems

What You Bring
• Proficient with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, megger, etc.) • Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79 codes and lockout/tagout safety procedures • Understand three‑phase wiring, power distribution, and AC/DC drives and motors • Diagnose PLC I/O, networking issues, and perform servo drive and motor motion training • Strong time‑management, task prioritization, and interpersonal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) • Experience with root‑cause analysis and problem solving • High school or vocational diploma required; technical training in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic preferred • Basic PLC and drive training preferred • Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance, electrical systems and controls experience; plastic process knowledge a plus • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lb to a height of 6 ft • Stand and be mobile for at least 8 continuous hours; work in temperature extremes • Perform full range of body motions (twist, bend, reach, squat) and mount/dismount equipment
