About the Role
The Senior Procurement & Commercial Manager provides management and direction for all procurement functions on large domestic or international projects, overseeing purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality, and traffic. The role involves coordinating with clients, project management, and internal departments while ensuring compliance with standards and ethical policies. • Review subordinate work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, procedures, and quality requirements. • Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel. • Make staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs dictate. • Track staffing requirements and expenditures within budget constraints. • Coordinate procurement activities with clients, project management, and internal departments. • Participate actively in the Company’s Quality Improvement Process. • Promote technical excellence among all employees. • Develop partnership agreements to align supplier quality and performance with company and client standards. • Assist in establishing and maintaining Procurement Department policies and procedures with upper management. • Ensure compliance with business ethics and Conflict of Interest policies; provide related training as needed. • Conduct performance evaluations, take corrective action, recommend promotions and salary adjustments, and deliver training and development. • Complete special assignments for the Department Manager – Procurement. • Contribute to proposal preparation. • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and bring typically 15+ years of diversified procurement experience on global engineering and construction projects, including managerial responsibilities. Required competencies include strong written and oral communication, thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations, and proficiency with DMCS or similar material control systems. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. • Possess typically 15+ years of diversified procurement experience on large global engineering and construction projects, including managerial experience. • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. • Show proficiency in DMCS or a similar material control system.
