About the Role

The Planning and Delivery Lead role is based in Indianapolis, IN and follows a hybrid/on‑site schedule of three days per week. Reporting to the Purchasing team, the position is responsible for managing delivery schedules and supplier relationships across a mix of suppliers. It supports the North American external supply chain and delivers to internal manufacturing customers. The role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to manufacturing facilities. It involves using production flow, load and capacity planning to develop credible supplier delivery commitments while maintaining data integrity in SAP and ERP compliance. Managing external supply‑chain risk, balancing delivery and inventory plans, and communicating long‑term commitments are also key duties. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure supply continuity to manufacturing facilities. • Build credible supplier delivery commitments using production flow, load, and capacity planning. • Manage data integrity in SAP and maintain ERP compliance. • Minimize external supply‑chain risk to internal customers. • Balance delivery and inventory plans to control cost based on customer requirements. • Communicate long‑term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans for critical parts. • Lead continuous‑improvement and lean initiatives via the Rolls‑Royce Production System.

Candidates should have an associate’s degree and three years of supply‑chain experience, or a bachelor’s degree with one year of experience, or a master’s/PhD or five years of experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred qualifications include project‑management experience, strong problem‑solving abilities, and robust internal and external relationship‑management skills.
