About the Role

As a member of the LDAR team you will conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tanks using a backpack‑mounted organic vapor meter, maintain and document field equipment and company vehicles, and ensure compliance with air‑quality regulations and safety policies. You will report environmental and safety issues to the client and regional manager, attend required safety meetings, and represent the company professionally in all interactions. • Conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tank components with a backpack‑mounted organic vapor meter. • Maintain and document the condition of all field equipment and company vehicles. • Perform daily vehicle checks, minor repairs, oil changes, and record activities in the Vehicle Maintenance Log. • Use the fuel card accurately and report odometer readings when fueling the vehicle. • Report environmental, safety, and compliance issues promptly to the client and Regional Manager. • Attend all required safety meetings and demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures. • Immediately report work‑related accidents, incidents, and near‑hit/hazard situations. • Represent the company professionally through personal habits, dress code, and communication. • Maintain a basic understanding of air‑quality rules and regulations. • Ensure adherence to Montrose and client safety training, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a 9/80 schedule independently. Preferred experience includes industrial or mechanical maintenance, laboratory work, and proficiency in math, chemistry, and Microsoft Office applications. Candidates must be able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, travel overnight when needed, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license required. • Ability to work a 9/80 schedule independently and travel overnight or on weekends as needed. • Experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance, laboratory work, or related fields preferred. • Proficient in math, chemistry principles, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and exert moderate physical effort.
