The Skilled Laborer/Groundman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, performing manual tasks such as trench digging, unloading materials, preparing job sites, transporting equipment, building and maintaining aerial and underground cable systems, troubleshooting field issues, and learning to use various tools and equipment. Candidates should prioritize safety, have a record of high-quality work, enjoy hands-on problem solving, seek long-term projects, be comfortable working outdoors with a team, hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record, and be interested in learning telecom construction trades such as coax and fiber splicing or directional drilling.
