About the Role
The Maintenance Technician ensures the reliability of mechanical rotating and process equipment at our facilities. This role involves performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and process systems, and implementing problem‑solving measures to keep production running smoothly. Key duties include installing and rearranging complex equipment, diagnosing failures, dismantling and repairing machinery, and conducting routine work such as fabrication, welding, cutting, and pipe‑fitting. The technician also follows drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions, uses standard mechanic tools and inspection gauges, and operates production equipment to verify repairs. • Install, rearrange, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and process equipment. • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspections. • Diagnose equipment failures, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery. • Execute fabrication, welding, cutting, and pipe‑fitting tasks; occasionally assist in other trades. • Use mechanic tools and inspection gauges while interpreting drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions. • Create work orders and log time in SAP MtS module; manage spare parts and tooling inventory. • Work overtime, weekends, and rotating night shifts (approximately 7 PM–7 AM) as needed.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or trade‑school certificate, with five years of relevant industry experience preferred, especially in plastics, mold tooling, or machining. Candidates with an interest in obtaining an electrical license are highly regarded, and proficiency with SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office is desired. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, good math skills, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to lift up to 55 lb, work in temperatures near 100 °F, and tolerate noise levels around 80 dB. The role operates on a rotating night‑shift schedule (approximately 7 PM to 7 AM) and may involve overtime, weekend work, and shutdown coverage. • Hold a high school diploma or trade‑school certification; 5+ years industry experience preferred. • Experience with plastics, mold tooling, and machining techniques; interest in electrical licensing a plus. • Proficient with SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office; capable of reading technical documentation. • Strong mechanical aptitude, good math skills, and detail‑oriented mindset. • Physically able to lift 55 lb, pull 10 lb overhead, climb stairs, and work in temperatures up to 100 °F with noise around 80 dB.
