Job Highlights
About the Role
• Monitor building and grounds for cleanliness and presentation. • Perform minor repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) using hand tools. • Store supplies properly. • Conduct grounds upkeep: mowing, shrub trimming, flower bed cultivation, snow/ice removal. • Remove trash and dispose in designated areas. • Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and safe. • Secure building after jobs and report security violations. • Report major repairs to supervisor. • Address emergency maintenance issues and hazards immediately. • Follow company policies, especially health and safety procedures. • Provide emergency on‑call support as required. • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. • Perform medium‑to‑heavy physical tasks, lifting up to 100 lb (frequent 50 lb lifts). • Interact with residents and handle complaints discreetly. • Use hand and power tools (e.g., circular saw, drill, grinder, trimmers, floor cleaner, carpet shampooer, drain cleaner, chainsaw).

What You Bring
• Follow written and verbal instructions. • Exhibit good eye‑hand coordination. • Possess basic janitorial knowledge. • Hold ALC lead‑paint certification. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • 1–2 years maintenance or construction supervision experience preferred.
