About the Role
As part of HDR’s Power sector, you will help shape how electricity is generated, transmitted and delivered to meet growing global energy demands. Our engineers and scientists have led grid transformation for more than a century, enabling reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems that help communities thrive. • Lead development, organization, and production of proposals and marketing materials using existing templates and brand standards. • Collaborate with marketing coordinators, project managers, technical staff, business development leads, and pursuit teams. • Evaluate technical and non‑technical content; write, edit, and proofread marketing communications for clarity and persuasiveness. • Develop interview presentation materials and coach interview teams. • Plan lead capture, conduct market sector research and competitor analysis, and create winning strategies and messaging, including graphics. • Prepare and maintain data in company systems such as pursuit information, project profiles, resumes, references, photography, and proposal documents. • Coordinate conference attendance and sponsorships. • Support business development leads, client managers, and teams in marketing strategy, client development, and capture planning. • Train and mentor team members on business development and marketing best practices.

As a lifelong learner, you embrace new ways and contribute to process improvements. • Minimum 4 years experience leading competitive A/E/C proposals. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Deep knowledge of A/E/C industry procurement of professional services. • Ability and desire to engage with others in‑person. • At least 2 years relevant industry experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign. • Demonstrated self‑starter attitude with ability to complete projects with limited oversight.
