About the Role
As a Gas Engineer you will deliver planned and reactive maintenance on heating and hot‑water systems, ensuring statutory compliance, safety standards, KPI targets and budget control. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, service gas and HIU equipment, test alarms and provide exceptional customer service. • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance within programmes, budgets and quality standards • Inspect, diagnose faults, fit replacement parts and repair heating and hot‑water systems • Perform gas servicing, HIU servicing and system breakdown work • Test smoke and carbon‑monoxide alarms per safety requirements • Complete job sheets, PDA updates, daily logs and weekly timesheets accurately and on time • Follow safe working practices to protect colleagues and the public • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high‑quality service and customer satisfaction • Meet all planned commitments, KPIs and service levels • Supervise and support apprentices following company policies • Provide outstanding customer service in all interactions • Attend toolbox talks and adhere to Health & Safety policy • Maintain company vehicle, arrange servicing and report malfunctions promptly

What You Bring
We are looking for an ACS/Gas Safe‑qualified engineer with at least five years’ experience in gas servicing, holding CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1 and CENWAT certifications. You must have a clean UK driving licence, strong communication skills and be able to work with PDA devices and apprentices. • ACS / Gas Safe certification • CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT (essential) • Energy Efficiency Certification • Unvented Hot Water qualification • HIU certification (desirable) • Heat Pump experience (desirable) • Minimum 5 years’ gas servicing experience • Proven experience as a qualified heating/gas service engineer in communal or domestic settings • Ability to use PDA devices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong team player with collaborative ability • Full, clean UK driving licence (maintained)
