The Technician Apprenticeship program trains entry‑level technicians over two years, covering electrical diagnostics, HVAC, wheel‑end, air‑system, brake, hydraulics, and overall truck preventative maintenance. Training begins with nine weeks of company‑paid instruction at the state‑of‑the‑art Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, followed by 22 months of on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and virtual instructor‑led technical content, leading to certification as an entry‑level Diesel Mechanic. High‑performing apprentices may accelerate to a Level C Technician before completing the full 22‑month period.
