About the Role
As a Senior Bids & Proposals Manager you will play a strategic role on the Commercial team, working with Application Engineers and Sales leaders to produce winning, profitable commercial proposals and later help build robust business cases for senior leadership approval. • Manage creation of commercial proposals across energy storage technologies. • Prepare and deliver winning proposals on schedule and without error. • Coordinate with technical, commercial, and finance groups to finalize proposals, project schedules, cash‑flow forecasts, and profitability analyses. • Review proposal sections and provide feedback to improve quality. • Evaluate pricing assumptions and validate key inputs with relevant functions. • Communicate effectively and timely with internal teams and executives. • Support financing activities for Energy Vault‑owned projects. • Assist in go/no‑go decisions for new opportunities. • Provide constructive feedback to optimize resource use and strategic outcomes.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience with a Master’s degree (or eight years with a Bachelor’s) in a commercial or finance role within the energy sector, strong project‑management and analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex technical and commercial documents while collaborating across functions. • 6+ years experience with a Master’s (or 8+ years with a Bachelor’s) in commercial/finance roles within the energy industry. • Strong project‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks independently. • Cost‑modeling experience (preferred). • APMP certification or familiarity with Shipley/Miller Heiman best practices (preferred). • Ability to interpret complex technical and commercial documents. • Detail‑oriented with an analytical mindset. • Experience creating and delivering high‑impact presentations. • Effective communication of program plans, proposals, and results. • Experience with document management systems, CRM, and proposal automation tools (preferred). • Collaborative team player willing to travel up to 10% domestically. • Comfortable thriving in fast‑paced, rapid‑growth environments. • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
