About the Role

• Facilitate check‑in, waivers, equipment rentals, and orientation for youth program participants. • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with BP’s youth program standards. • Instruct youth sessions and provide individual and group coaching under the Programs Manager’s guidance. • Deliver excellent customer service to families entering the DC Bouldering Project facility. • Communicate professionally with youth participants and their families and maintain regular updates with the Programs Manager. • Provide feedback to participants, families, and the Program Manager on youth development needs. • Ensure participants understand facility risks, rules, and regulations and promote ongoing risk mitigation. • Organize groups, oversee activities, and maintain control to keep participants, staff, and customers safe. • Respond to safety or health incidents in line with the Safety Manual, administer first aid, and complete incident reports. • Track and maintain youth program equipment inventory.

What You Bring

• Meet minimum requirements: 18+ years old, high school diploma or GED, enjoy working with youth, flexible weekdays/weekends availability, able to lift 40 lb and stand/walk for extended periods, and have prior youth or physical‑education experience.
