About the Role
Lead big‑impact procurement data work that shapes AusNet’s future, driving real change through insights, automation and smarter decision‑making. You will own the procurement and supply chain data and reporting program, delivering high‑quality analysis, optimising the spend cube and continuously improving reporting frameworks to elevate insights across the organisation. • Design, optimise, and govern scalable procurement data solutions. • Champion process automation and digital transformation in procurement. • Provide advanced analytics, including business cases, TCO modelling, and spend visibility. • Manage master data, spend classification taxonomy and improve data quality. • Own and develop Power BI/Excel dashboards for contracts, tenders, savings and procurement activities. • Consolidate, validate and maintain the spend cube, delivering ad‑hoc category insights. • Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating data insights into strategy. • Build self‑service analytics capability through training in Power BI, Power Automate and data‑driven decision‑making.

What You Bring
• Relevant degree or diploma in business, computer science or related field; Master’s/MBA and CIPS certification advantageous. • 7+ years procurement experience covering policy, process design, strategy, sustainable procurement and continuous improvement. • 3–5 years data analytics experience supporting complex procurement decisions. • Strong communication and stakeholder management with presentation skills. • Advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI expertise; experience with ERP, Power Automate, Power Apps, Visio, SQL, Azure a plus. • Knowledge of utilities sector, project management and financial budgeting beneficial. • Continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimisation and capability uplift.
