Operate a heavy-duty truck to collect and dump waste containers on assigned routes.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Operate heavy‑duty truck safely on transfer routes, complying with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and promptly report any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings; cooperate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed, follow route assignments, and complete all required documentation and customer tickets. • Dump containers, clean customer locations, position containers properly, ensure lids are replaced, and prevent blockage of driveways. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager and follow Service Machine protocol for blocked containers or missed pick‑ups.

What You Bring
The position may require a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative for air travel or access to federal property, and candidates must be willing to obtain one if necessary. • Hold a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical exam, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record. • No prior education or experience required.
