About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at Karrick Apartments is responsible for delivering high‑quality move‑in experiences and ensuring resident satisfaction through timely, professional service. This role supports residents with a range of maintenance needs while representing Cushman & Wakefield with a courteous and professional demeanor. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs) for resident move‑ins. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor. • Execute scheduled maintenance assignments from the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training programs and uphold professional appearance standards. • Read and interpret policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions. • Compute rates, ratios, percentages and prepare basic reports. • Apply common‑sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. • Perform routine mathematical operations and write correspondence.

What You Bring
The position operates primarily in a professional office setting but requires regular travel between properties and work in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and lift or move objects up to 100 pounds, while also using standard office equipment and maintaining safety procedures. • Perform basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational training. • Have at least one year of related maintenance experience.

Benefits
Compensation for this role ranges from $22.10 to $26.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package covering health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and various insurance options.
