About the Role
The successful candidate will collaborate with finance and accounting teams, act as a liaison to IT, and champion a culture of innovation that drives organizational change. They will advise on reporting best practices and provide expertise in workflow automation and enterprise resource planning data. • Build Power BI financial analytics reports for multiple divisions. • Create SQL Server tables, views, stored procedures, and jobs. • Develop complex workflows using Visual Studio and SSIS. • Serve as subject‑matter expert for workflow‑automation and ERP data tools. • Administer and monitor SaaS applications and database platforms. • Gather and translate business requirements from stakeholders. • Analyze disparate data to synthesize actionable strategies. • Promote a culture of innovation to drive organizational change. • Advise Finance & Accounting on reporting best practices. • Act as liaison between Finance/Accounting and IT teams. • Provide guidance on implementation and maintenance of accounting software.

What You Bring

The position is based at one of Discovery Land Company’s corporate offices in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is open to full‑time, year‑round applicants. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 15 years experience; technical certifications a plus. • 3+ years Power BI development and report delivery. • 10+ years T‑SQL coding experience. • 7+ years SQL Server Management Studio expertise. • 5+ years Visual Studio and SSIS experience. • Proficient in MS Office reporting to senior leadership. • Experience with SaaS finance tools (e.g., Sage Intacct, FloQast) preferred. • Front‑end development experience is a plus. • Ability to pivot quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
