About the Role
In this role, the leader will oversee the design and implementation of a wide range of low‑voltage technology systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and manage the creation of detailed construction documents. The position also involves coordinating with external stakeholders and supporting construction administration. • Lead design and execution of technology systems including telecom rooms, structured cabling, pathways, nurse call, infant protection, safety and security, and audiovisual systems. • Develop and evaluate low‑voltage system concepts to select optimal design solutions. • Apply NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, and other codes to low‑voltage and telecommunications designs. • Produce detailed design drawings, narratives, and CSI specifications for bidding and construction. • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and construction partners. • Provide construction administration services. • Support project budget achievement and resource management. • Mentor engineers and designers within the organization.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, brings over a decade of design and consulting experience in low‑voltage or electrical systems, and possesses relevant certifications such as RCDD or a PE license. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential. • Associate degree in Applied Science Engineering Technology (Bachelor’s preferred). • Minimum 12 years of design and consulting experience in low‑voltage/electrical systems. • RCDD certification (or similar) preferred; PE license or eligibility a plus. • Experience with architectural and engineering projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office. • Ability to self‑manage and work collaboratively on projects. • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
