About the Role

The Project Engineer is responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects under the direction of the Project Manager. This role ensures that all work is completed within established timelines, meets quality standards, adheres to projected man‑hours, and complies with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Engineer collaborates with internal support staff and external stakeholders such as owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors to facilitate project activities. Key responsibilities include planning and administering contracts, directing project activities to stay on schedule, and conducting on‑site visits to manage layout, material, tool, and equipment logistics. The Engineer cultivates strong client relationships, engages with owners and trade partners, and actively participates in project meetings and specialized events. Coordination with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent, and Human Resources is essential, as is reviewing project documents, overseeing construction, resolving field issues, and managing installations through project close‑out while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. • Plan and prepare contract administration for assigned projects. • Execute and direct project activities to ensure timely completion. • Conduct on‑site visits to oversee project layout and schedule materials, tools, and equipment. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships. • Interact with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors. • Participate in project meetings and trade‑related events. • Coordinate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent, and HR. • Review project documents, plans, and specifications. • Direct construction activities and resolve field difficulties. • Coordinate field installations and manage project close‑outs. • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. • Adhere to standard operating procedures and project cost, time, and quality standards.

What You Bring

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience, along with a high level of technical and administrative expertise. Completion of, or enrollment in, an approved electrical apprenticeship program is preferred. Required skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent organization, and proficiency with technology and computer applications.
