About the Role

The Company Wide Quality Control Manager (QCM) ensures that construction, quality assurance, and testing meet contract requirements and the company's quality goals. The QCM also develops, updates, and executes project‑specific Quality Control Plans while collaborating closely with CDCC staff and subcontractors to achieve compliance. In this role the QCM reviews owner quality requirements, leads plan‑flips and mock‑up inspections, creates project‑specific checklists, and helps maintain the overall CDCC Quality Control Program. The manager works with project teams and subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of quality expectations before work begins, attends pre‑installation meetings, and validates submittals, materials, and installations against contract documents. The QCM conducts inspections, documents test results, verifies third‑party testing, performs pre‑inspections before client QA visits, and generates comprehensive reports of work performed, deficiencies, and corrective actions. They also recommend improvements to project and company leadership and perform miscellaneous quality‑control duties as assigned. • Review and interpret owner quality requirements for each project. • Lead plan‑flips, mock‑up reviews, and develop project‑specific QC checklists. • Create and implement Quality Control Plans aligned with owner and CDCC standards. • Train staff and subcontractors on quality management procedures. • Conduct pre‑installation meetings to discuss material, installation, and testing requirements. • Verify submittals, material deliveries, and installations against contract documents. • Oversee testing and inspection activities, ensuring proper documentation. • Perform on‑site inspections, identify non‑compliant work, and coordinate corrective actions. • Maintain logs of deficiencies and testing requirements, ensuring resolution and completion. • Prepare detailed QC inspection reports summarizing work performed, deficiencies, and corrective actions. • Attend and document third‑party testing and support client QA inspections. • Recommend process improvements to project and company leadership. • Travel to job sites, work varied shifts, and relocate as project demands require. • Participate in industry associations and pursue continuous professional education.
