About the Role
The Tower Foreman leads daily site construction work, ensuring crews meet production goals and adhere to MasTec Health, Safety, and Environmental policies as well as industry standards such as OSHA and ANSI. Responsibilities include overseeing site operations, maintaining quality, managing daily paperwork and closeout documentation, and coordinating with customer representatives. The role also requires mentoring crew members, keeping equipment operational, and validating timesheets. • Lead daily site construction activities to meet production goals. • Implement MasTec Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Ensure site safety and oversee quality of work. • Maintain daily paperwork, timesheets, and closeout documentation; upload to customer portals. • Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain strong relationships. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to crew members. • Keep equipment and vehicles operational and conduct regular inspections. • Validate crew timesheets and manage FDOT logbooks. • Perform rigging, tower climbing, and lifting tasks (up to 50 lb) safely.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, and expertise in construction, rigging, and safety practices. Required skills include reading site plans and construction drawings, a valid driver’s license, strong organizational and communication abilities, and the physical capability to climb towers and lift up to 50 lb. Relevant certifications such as WSA, First Aid, CPR, and equipment-specific training are preferred. • Minimum high school diploma/GED and 5+ years industry experience. • Expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and related certifications (WSA, First Aid, CPR, etc.). • Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW. • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • Strong organizational, computer (Excel, Word), and communication skills. • Physical fitness to climb towers, work up to 12 hours, and lift 50 lb.
