About the Role
The Transfer Station Supervisor oversees daily operations at the transfer station and ensures compliance with safety and other regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include leading the development and monitoring of processes that enhance safety, productivity, and profitability; managing staff and workflow; conducting safety and compliance meetings; reconciling revenue and billing, processing payroll, and handling supply orders. The supervisor also prepares weekly and month‑end reports for senior management and provides coaching, training, performance evaluations, and input on personnel decisions such as termination, compensation, and promotion. • Supervise development, implementation, and monitoring of safety, productivity, and profitability processes. • Manage transfer station staff, coordinate workflow and assignments. • Conduct regular safety and compliance meetings. • Reconcile facility revenue, billing, and monthly P‑card statements; process payroll. • Prepare and submit weekly and month‑end reports to senior management. • Oversee personnel functions including coaching, training, performance evaluation, and input on termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have at least four years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include a 40‑hour Hazardous certification and Scalemaster Certification.
