About the Role
The designer will lead all project phases from concept development through completion, producing design concepts, interior documentation, and finish material boards. What You Bring
This fast‑paced role seeks a personable interior designer with experience creating interiors for educational, healthcare, or large‑scale corporate facilities, focusing on K‑12 projects. The candidate counsel join a collaborative team of project designers, production architects, and engineers. Strong interpersonal and technical abilities, effective presentation skills, and knowledge of interior finishes are essential. The role requires a minimum of five years of professional experience and a CIDA‑accredited Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. Candidates must understand the FF&E process, communicate design concepts to clients, and be proficient in Revit + Enscape or SketchUp + Lumion, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365. An NCIDQ certification and registration in the state of the office are a plus, as is experience in educational, sports, healthcare, or corporate design. The ideal candidate can prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines, demonstrates strong customer service, and works diplomatically. • Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience. • CIDA‑accredited Bachelor’s in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. • Demonstrated knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) processes. • Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions. • Proficiency in Revit + Enscape or SketchUp + Lumion, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365. • NCIDQ certification and state registration (preferred). • Experience in educational, sports, healthcare, or corporate interior design (preferred). • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines diplomatically.
