About the Role
In this role you will perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems, and respond to warranty calls while delivering the highest level of customer service as a trusted advisor. You will also act as a solutions provider, addressing building inefficiencies and service‑related issues on site. You will load system‑level controller software, conduct basic commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to field devices, and complete all required documentation. Administrative duties include timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site paperwork, while safety standards are strictly followed. What You Bring
Candidates should have a 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or related field, or at least two years of industry experience servicing HVAC electronic or mechanical systems. Required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, leadership abilities to support mechanics, and proficiency with PC and HVAC software programming are essential. • Minimum 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer tech, or related field, or equivalent experience • At least 2 years experience servicing HVAC electronic/mechanical systems • Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facilities management, and peripheral equipment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences • Leadership ability to guide mechanics on non‑critical building automation jobs • Proficiency with PC and HVAC software programming
