About the Role

The role involves providing insight and innovative solutions to ensure successful construction of both commercial and residential projects. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Apprentice Carpenter / Skilled Labourer will oversee quality control for homes built in the community, ensure compliance with local building codes and company safety policies, and handle general site maintenance and clean‑up as needed. • Perform labour and apprentice carpentry tasks on residential and commercial construction projects. • Assist with housekeeping, quality management, and safety of all buildings on the project. • Conduct touch‑ups and repairs on sub‑trade deficiencies. • Execute carpentry work beyond the scope of subcontractors. • Support the Arbutus team throughout the project lifecycle. • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the site foreman. • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

The company is seeking an experienced Apprentice Carpenter / Skilled Labourer with a strong work ethic, team orientation, and the skills to assist in constructing residential and commercial properties in the Saskatoon region. • Proficiently use power tools such as air nailers, skill saws, and screw guns. • Minimum 2 years of construction labour and/or carpentry experience. • Strong verbal communication skills. • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. • Highly organized, results‑oriented, and capable of working in a multi‑functional team. • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork attitude. • Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
