About the Role
• Accountable for profit and loss, inventory, and accounts receivable for assigned location(s). • Achieve earnings before interest and tax (EBIT), return on investment capital (ROIC), and return on sales (ROS) goals. • Safeguard company assets and associates. • Provide operational oversight and maintain excellent inventory management procedures. • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet service, financial, and operational demands. • Utilize training programs to develop sales and operations expertise. • Initiate and build relationships with existing and new customers. • Act as liaison to functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution. • Monitor local market trends and develop strategies to grow market share. • Collaborate with vendors to maximize sales and increase profitability. • Ensure efficient operations through adherence to policies, procedures, and process excellence. • Maintain compliance with applicable government regulations and environmental health and safety responsibilities.

What You Bring
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a related field. • Operate a company or personal vehicle for more than 20% of the work week; acceptable motor vehicle record required. • Preferred: experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle. • Preferred: wholesale distribution experience. • Preferred: leadership experience.
