About the Role
• Assist with leasing activities, marketing efforts, resident recertifications, and general administrative duties. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, support rent collection, and address delinquencies to maintain financial health. • Respond promptly to resident concerns and organize appreciation and retention events. • Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (e.g., HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC) and support audit processes. • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely, high‑quality property upkeep. • Prepare performance reports and identify areas for community improvement.

Related Affordable is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of an affordable housing community in Denver, CO. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to maintain a welcoming environment for residents, handling administrative tasks, resident relations, and ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations. • Minimum two years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing. • Familiarity with affordable housing programs and compliance requirements. • Proficiency with RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards, or similar property management software. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Proactive problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail and confidentiality. • Demonstrates accountability, resilience, and collaboration in a resident‑centered environment.
