About the Role

The Plumber installs and repairs all phases of plumbing systems—including portable water, sanitary water and vent, natural gas, and storm drainage—in compliance with local and state building codes. Responsibilities span from layout and installation of pipe systems to testing and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety standards. The role requires occasional travel (0‑5% of time) to job sites and involves physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, handling objects up to 100 pounds, and working in tight or confined spaces under outdoor conditions like precipitation and noise. Employees must maintain a safe work environment while operating plumbing tools and equipment. • Layout pipe systems, hangers, and equipment from drawings and specifications. • Install plumbing systems and supports following approved drawings and manufacturer instructions. • Install lavatories, toilets, urinals, cafeteria fixtures, and drinking fountains. • Install storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and potable water systems. • Practice on‑the‑job safety and identify structural obstructions. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building and plumbing codes. • Maintain plumbing equipment and tools according to manufacturer guidelines. • Keep the work area safe and clean by following company and site safety procedures. • Test all plumbing systems in accordance with job specifications.

What You Bring

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of plumbing experience. • Completed a formal training program or apprenticeship and possess a Journeyman Plumber license in the work state. • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, first aid, CPR, and emergency rescue. • Proficient in installing PVC, ABS, copper, PEX, Victaulic, and other piping systems. • Familiar with city, state, and national plumbing codes and ADA requirements. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Detail‑oriented, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. • Preferred: 5 years of plumbing experience.
