About the Role
The role is responsible for driving efficiency and effectiveness in the daily operations and delivery of the Built‑to‑Order areas by providing resources, work direction, and problem‑solving, ensuring operational KPIs and business goals are met in line with company policies. The leader oversees functional resources across the value stream—including manufacturing engineering, product engineering, material handling, and quality—while enforcing safety regulations, planning daily operations, and optimizing skill, material, and workflow utilization to achieve timely, high‑quality production. • Meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs. • Lead functional teams (manufacturing engineering, product engineering, material handling, quality) within the value stream. • Enforce company policies and safety regulations. • Analyze production schedules and adjust worker hour estimates. • Plan daily operations to optimize skill utilization, material, and workflow. • Drive productivity and efficiency improvements with employees. • Develop and implement current and future state value‑stream maps and continuous‑improvement plans. • Coach, train, and develop team members for performance and career growth. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges. • Communicate performance metrics and vision for the value stream. • Recognize and manage employee performance, attendance, and conduct issues. • Collaborate with plant leadership and product management on best practices and new product launches.

What You Bring
Success in this position requires strong analytical, mechanical, and communication abilities, proven leadership to motivate and develop teams, and an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) combined with prior leadership experience and a demonstrated record of efficiency improvement. • Associate degree required; bachelor's preferred. • Previous leadership experience. • Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements.
