About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Operations will lead strategic commercial initiatives for the Grid Automation business, combining contract expertise, deal strategy, and customer partnership. This role focuses on shaping negotiations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with risk management and organizational standards. Reporting as a key partner to Sales, Legal, and Business Units, the manager will oversee the negotiation and execution of commercial contracts and MSAs, enhancing efficiency across the commercial process and supporting customer‑focused solutions. • Draft, redline, and assess commercial contract terms, managing risk and securing Business Unit approvals. • Partner with customers and Grid Automation leadership to negotiate agreements that maximize company value and growth. • Resolve complex contracting issues to maintain momentum throughout the deal lifecycle. • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to provide timely, high‑quality responses to customer T&Cs. • Evaluate proposal risks and work with Proposal Management to deliver accurate, compelling proposal packages. • Maintain a highly collaborative mindset supporting internal and external customers. • Apply a growth‑oriented, value‑selling approach and partner across functions.

What You Bring

• Bring 10+ years of experience negotiating commercial contracts in the energy or utilities sector. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and MSAs. • Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. • Utilize strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, motivated to implement Lean principles. • Possess excellent oral and written communication; MBA preferred.
