About the Role
• Provide consultative HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees. • Conduct new‑hire orientations and ongoing employee training. • Implement and support performance‑management processes. • Lead employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. • Respond to employment inquiries and refer complex issues appropriately. • Administer compensation and benefits programs. • Hold regular meetings with business units to address HR needs. • Resolve complex employee‑relations issues and conduct objective investigations. • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and partner with compliance/legal teams. • Advise line management on coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions. • Foster positive work relationships, morale, and retention. • Interpret and communicate HR policies. • Evaluate training programs for effectiveness and alignment with goals. • Lead projects coordinating HR Operations and HR Shared Services, creating SOPs. • Support VP of HR on special initiatives such as annual HR strategy events and Project Renaissance. • Manage federal labor‑law poster compliance and budget coordination with Accounting. • Oversee Employee 1st Program and serve as liaison with vendors. • Organize monthly HR team‑building activities and disseminate key HR documents. • Provide monthly HR updates to keep the team informed.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least five years of comprehensive HR experience, demonstrating strong knowledge across HR domains, organizational detail, and legal compliance. Essential skills include autonomous learning, diplomacy, time management, analytical problem‑solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preference is given to those with a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP. The position requires primarily office‑based work, including extended periods at a desk, light lifting up to 15 pounds, and occasional repetitive hand motions. Travel is limited to 0‑5 % of time, mainly to job sites or office locations.
