About the Role

In this tenant‑facing role, you will lead the end‑to‑end design process for commercial real‑estate projects, guiding space planning, design development, construction documentation, and move‑in, while ensuring brand alignment, scope, and budget compliance. You will collaborate closely with internal design, real‑estate experience, asset management, construction, workplace operations, and technology teams, as well as external consultant and FF&E vendors, to deliver relocation projects, feasibility studies, and capital improvements. • Lead tenant design process from concept through move‑in, serving as primary design contact. • Manage all design phases: test‑fit, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and administration. • Oversee consultant teams and FF&E vendors to meet schedule and budget targets. • Conduct feasibility studies and develop test‑fit options using Bluebeam or AutoCAD. • Select furniture, art, finishes, and create FF&E presentations aligned with tenant feedback. • Source and provide finish samples, lighting, and material options from the design library. • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously across different phases and stakeholder groups. • Collaborate with construction, workplace operations, and technology teams to integrate solutions. • Identify emerging design trends and product specifications to evolve design standards. • Maintain project schedules, reporting, and budget tracking for approvals and allocations.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years of commercial‑real‑estate architecture and interiors experience, especially with Class‑A office spaces, a strong grasp of construction, MEP, acoustics, FF&E, AV/IT, and NYC code, and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. • 8–10 years of commercial real‑estate architecture and interiors experience, primarily Class‑A office. • Strong knowledge of construction costs, constructability, MEP/FP, acoustics, structural engineering, FF&E, AV/IT, lighting design, and NYC permitting. • Proven ability to lead consultants and vendors from project kickoff to closeout. • Proficiency in Bluebeam; working knowledge of Procore and AutoCAD. • Excellent communication skills for presenting design concepts to stakeholders.
